Let me start again:
I was going to enjoy life...yada, yada, clositer, yada, yada...while actually trying to do some good writing work in the process.
HA!
Remember that old joke: How do you give God a good case of the giggles? Make plans.
Yup, once again, I have bitten off more than I should chew. It seems that I am going to be tooling around in book-signing land like an itinerant fop - but stylish only in my head - for the next few months. And since I've decided to prostitute myself to the road, I figure you should come and experience the spectacle with me, if you're able.
So, here are the dates of the debauchery. Please, come and get depraved!
Also, the audiobooks of the 1st three Calliope Reaper-Jones books should be available starting on 2/22 with yours truly supplying the voice. So, check'em out!

come to san francisco!
ReplyDelete:):):)
ReplyDeleteHopefully ur gonna be in Chicago or Indianapolis... Fingers crossed
ReplyDeleteAny chance of a UK/Ireland book tour?
ReplyDeletegood luck!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Mysterious Galaxy!
ReplyDeleteMaybe there will be an AZ date in the list someday. Or a return to SDCC. :)
I spy New York! Good luck to you. :D
ReplyDeleteAwesome, glad to see you'll be in Houston again!
ReplyDeleteSo does this mean no Gallifrey this year? Aw.
ReplyDeleteCome to Memphis!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've noticed that the PtB like disrupting all of my plans - so I've decide "better to just jump". Stopped making plans - started just doing.
ReplyDeleteYou should come to Reno, NV. XD lol... But there's really nothing here, other than me, to come here for. j/k j/k About the me part. The 'this place sucks' part is all truth.
Just remember to breathe along the way, and take plenty of pictures - not of things but of moments, because it's the moments that matter... and I'll make sure to get my ma the audiobooks. She can't read anymore - her eye sight's going- but she can listen and it's better to listen to art than television.
Gosh dern it! Your'e gallivanting happily around the states the week or so I *am* in California. Ah well, back to the usual cry: "come to Toronto!"
ReplyDeleteI hope you come to Boston again. Enjoyed it last time! Looking forward to the book!
ReplyDeleteDon't be so hard on yourself! It must be tough being on the road a lot but look at it this way think of all the fans who can't wait to see you! :) So you're doing it to sell books and make some money that's not a bad thing! It just gives you a little freedom to work on what you want and get some R&R in the future. No fan would begrudge you that believe me!
ReplyDeleteOkay so I'm being selfish just looking at fan's point when what you were say have time write and enjoy life if you weren't trying to sell books! I kind of missed the point with my first paragraph well let me just finish by saying thank you for all your hard work it has brought me a lot of joy! For every annoying fan you meet like me there are some nice ones too have fun!
PS I can't wait to listen to the audio books!
Joe
Still waiting for Cleveland... lol. You mentioned wanting to see more of it on your crazy crossroads trip. =) By the way, Cleveland's "Little Italy" is BETTER than NYC's. Primavera's is the place to go in Cleveland's Little Italy. Besides, it's only a 45 minute drive to the Pro Football Hall of Fame; Drag Adam's dad along. I'll give him the tour.
ReplyDeleteI'll second the "Indianapolis someday" request. :)
ReplyDelete::unrealistically hopeful that perhaps just maybe a signing in NC will be added::
ReplyDeleteWhen did your last book come out? I've got to get it. Good luck with the tours.
ReplyDeleteYou should absolutely come to Florida and do a signing (though I know you don't plan these things so really I am just talking out of my ass) because it's warm here! Kinda.
ReplyDeletesometimes I wish that Their would be something going on in Colorado I would really love to meet you Amber but I am a poor college freshmen who can't afford a plane trip so please consider coming to Colorado please oh please
ReplyDeleteOne of these days, you need to do a signing in Michigan! Although if you're not much into snow and cold...you may want to wait a few months!
ReplyDeleteMinneapolis seems like a place you should visit :]]
ReplyDeleteGo to S.F :]
ReplyDeleteCalliope will be back very soon. Yes !
ReplyDeleteAs a comic book lover, I'm also happy that 2 previous comics of Amber will be published again.
Her "Tales of the Slayer" story will be republished at the end of January in the Dark Horse TPB "Buffy The Vampire Slayer : Tales". I already read it (and I love that the story takes place in France) but I will buy it anyway.
But I never read "Demon Father John's Pinwheel Blues" drawn by Ben Templesmith, so I will buy the IDW Trade paperback "Blood Stained Sword" released in April where the story is reprinted.
A new book, old comics reprinted for the first time...another great year for Amber fans :)
Amber...please take care of your health with all the running around the states...wish you the best always and hope for another No Calif visit this year and have fun, fun, fun too!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck and hope you decide to come to colorado
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't complain if you got to Indiana, preferably the Fort Wayne area. Ha -- my novel's coming out in June, maybe we'll meet at one of those multi-author book signings. That would certainly take the pressure off of *me*!
ReplyDeleteHaha, here everyone is name-dropping their cities, and I'd say "Come to Maine!" but we don't really have any. We call Portland a city, and I can guarantee that most of its 130,000 people are exceptionally nerdy, if that helps! :) Have fun, and thank you for continuing to put out such great work; it's nice to have something to look forward to :)
ReplyDeletePlease come to Portland, Oregon!!!
ReplyDelete-Jaz
I agree with Leah....MEMPHIS, MEMPHIS, MEMPHIS!!
ReplyDeleteNo one awesomely wonderful comes here...The highlight of Memphis last year was Usher.
SAVE US! AND EAT GREAT FOOD WHILE YOU DO IT!
If you happen to find yourself in the Washington DC area that wouldn't be such a bad thing. And if, in the time you find yourself here, you should happen to be at the Potomac Mills Mall, then I would be able to come see you. I'm disabled and that is about as far away from home as I can get these days.
ReplyDeleteAny chance u'd come to Brazil?!
ReplyDeletelol
I'll be traveling to the US by April, to LA, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Think u should be there, then.
One of your thousand fans in Brazil,
xoxo
Can't wait to see you again. Please come to MA or NH. Maybe you'll be able to do another signing with Chris Golden. Would be great to see you two together at a signing.
ReplyDeleteHey Amber,
ReplyDeleteWell try to take it one day at a time so that it doesn't affect your health. Hopefully you will be coming to Miami or close to us. I would love to finally be able to meet you. But even though you might have bitten off more than you can chew..you will have fun and take your trips as learning experiences. All I can tell you is that all your hard work is not in vain since your fans will be supporting you all the way...well at least this fan. Breathe and just go with the flow. ^.~
We can only cross our fingers for you to come in Europe. Enjoy your prostitution, but do be safe! ;)
ReplyDeleteDawn Jones mentioned Reno - hey, the World Science Fiction Convention will be there in August this year!
ReplyDeleteAm also hoping for SF. If you do make a stop here, I'll bring something other than (Mission) pie.
The best of luck on your book tour. I hope we beat those "Drones" guys, I don't know, it has been months, but I don't like it when boys beat up on girls.
ReplyDeleteLittle Red Riding Hood Guy
Sweet! I'll see you at the King's English in SLC! Huzzah!
ReplyDeleteGood look Amber!! Regards from Mexico!! Kisses!!
ReplyDeleteHey Amber!! Have you twitter? =) Kisses!!
ReplyDeleteSan Francisco!
ReplyDeleteCould you please come to Dallas or Fort Worth! If I had the money to, I would fly you here for one day just to get your autograph.
ReplyDeleteSo, I believe you are missing a place.
ReplyDeleteThat would be San Francisco. Or even Santa Cruz Ca.
I feel like you'd like it here.
ahhh yes please come to the Bay
ReplyDeleteYay Houston! No one ever comes here, so this is gold...at least, I never hear about it until after it happens. I'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteSan Fran!!!
ReplyDeleteCOME TO SAN FRANCISCO. Today
ReplyDeleteOMG OMG OMG! I missed you the last time you were in Burbank. Not again! My birthday is February 21st so my present to myself is going to be attending your San Diego and Burbank book signings. This is SO exciting. :D :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteDallas is lovely in March.
ReplyDeleteWon't you stop by?
