my first blog post

Howdy to all! This is my first blog post (as you can see in the title section) and I am kind of excited about it.  I think that having a place to vent and babble is a very positive thing, so thanks for watching (you voyeurs, you) and I will be updating this thingamahouky in a quasi-timely manner.  I am also hoping that the more I blog and twitter and just cruise the internet, the more people will find about all the cool stuff I'm up to like (shameless promotion)!  Tally-ho for now :)

  3. Hi Amber! I'm a fan from Brazil, completely crazy about Buffy. Gosh, Tara was such a precious thing. I love your work as an actress (obviously), and singer and I'm looking forward to see more of storyteller-Amber :P I really like what I've seen so far from ya, and hope you keep doing those great fantasy pieces. Often would be better ;)

    Another awesome and loyal fan of yours. I have actually been having my own little Buffy marathon and have made my way to season 5. I gotta say out of everyone who was with Willow, I really loved the Tara/Willow plus you and Alyson really made it work. I loved every second of it, and cried alot of times to. No one was ever right with Willow again.

    Anyway I won't keep babbling on about Buffy I think your an amazing actress and are an amazing person. Welcome to the blogging world!.

  15. You know, I just love your new interview in the latest issue of Sirens of Cinema (#14, it is). Such a shame you had to tolerate that simpleminded interviewer. ;)

    With this blog, at least, you can speak directly to the masses. Just please try to update a tad more often than that Big Hairy Lesbian pal of yours does with his. :P

  26. Welcome to the world of blogging, but be careful -- it's an addiction that can suck up a lot of time. I love meeting new people and discussing common interests on LiveJournal, but I'm supposed to be working on selling some novels! And as you know, being a novelist is a time consuming process.

  27. Greetings Ms. Benson:

    It's nice to see someone else out there who likes to write as much as I do. It's a science, being able to write sentence after sentence for long periods of time. Just remember, when writing to a guy you like, keep it short. I've discovered that when you write lengthy letters or emails most folks don't appreciate the artist side of things and only notice its' length.
    When I write a letter to a friend or to a lady I'd like to get to know better, I've noticed the hours zip past and the writing becomes almost therapeutic in nature.
    With that in mind I wonder if the words are meant for the recipient or for the writer.

    Anyway, good luck with your blog. I don't have one personally, but then, who'd want to read what I have to say being neither famous nor boo-ti-ful. But I am a firm believer that I am exactly where God wants me to be.
